There has been mixed reaction to the ANC's announcement of its eight premiers. The announcement was made earlier on Tuesday that in Gauteng Nomvula Mokonyane will be replaced by party secretary David Makhura. In the North West, Thandi Modise has been replaced by provincial chairs Supra Mahumapelo and Noxolo Kiviet in the Eastern Cape is replaced by Phumulo Masualle.
