Candlelight by carols ... yes, we are trying to be funny, but this one is a real goodie!
There is simply absolutely nothing better than having an excuse to belt out all our favourite Christmas carols during the festive season. Besides, feeling like a kid again, the kids actually really do love it … even moody teens secretly love a bit of a Jingle Bells hum.
So gather up friends and family and head on over to St Stithians Collegel this Saturday, pack a picnic and get ready for a fantastic line-up. Singing along with us is, Craig Lucas, Paxton, Connell Cruise, Swing City, Claire Johnston, Rubber Duc, Roan Aah and the Ndlovu Youth Choir … yes, please! SPAR Carols by Candlelight together with Jacaranda FM have curated this fantastic line-up for us, and we simply cannot wait.
As always, charity is appreciated, so bring along a wrapped toy, to spoil someone underprivileged and unsuspecting on Christmas Day. The joy of giving is the biggest gift of all and a Carols by Candlelight highlight. See you all there … and no judgment of those singing the loudest!
Entry is free. Candles on sale at R30, songbooks at R10 and a songbook and candle bundle package at R35. All proceeds will go to Jacaranda FM Good Morning Angels.
