Sandton businesswoman Pamela Niemand is your new Mrs Johannesburg

SANDTON – Sandton businesswoman Pamela Niemand has been crowned as the new Mrs Johannesburg.

Succesful Sandton businesswoman and CEO of the Executive Suites group Pamela Niemand has been crowned Mrs Johannesburg.

Niemand told Sandton Chronicle about her experience and said she feels humbled and grateful for the opportunity to wear the Mrs Johannesburg crown.

“I believe this crown represents a platform where I can give back to the community in more ways than just handing out hotdogs. Bringing real change to impoverished communities and equipping them to create a better life for themselves. Mrs Johannesburg doesn’t just represent the beauty of glitz and glamour, but also represents the ability to motivate each person with a passion for people to make a difference,” she said.

Niemand’s duties as the newly crowned Mrs Johannesburg include representing the Role Models Foundation by attending and supporting charity events, in quest of donations and providing relief to the Role Models Foundation projects.

“Role Models Foundation hosts fundraisers across South Africa. We believe that it is important to teach the youth that they can indeed make a difference in the community, by getting involved in constructive projects,” Niemand added.

Niemand believes that beauty pageants play an important role in creating strong leaders that can inspire change in young women.

“As I am a businesswoman and have walked the talk, I understand the importance of creating leaders. And with my empowerment programme for women in townships, I am doing exactly that. Training women to become entrepreneurs, to become leaders and to create job opportunities within their immediate communities,” she said.

“My heart is warmed by the incredible support of my amazing husband Jonathan Niemand, colleagues, employees, friends and family. Special thanks to everyone embarking on this journey with me. I [want to encourage] everyone not to let the memories of your past limit the potential of your future. There are no limits to what you can achieve, your life is your journey, be more, do more and live more,” said Niemand.
