DA to give update on coalition talks
JOHANNESBURG – Political parties to provide update on coalition talks.

Johannesburg residents can expect to know by at least the end of the week which political parties have agreed to form a coalition government, which will allow them to take over the administration of the City of Johannesburg.
On 17 August, the leader of the Democratic Alliance (DA), Mmusi Maimane, will address the media on coalition negotiations together with chairperson of the DA’s Federal Executive, James Selfe, and DA national spokesperson, Phumzile van Damme.
The EFF is also expected to announce their coalition partner on the same day.
