13 environmental changes we can celebrate on Earth Day

South Africa might be a long way from becoming a beacon of hope for climate change but we can always look to the rest of the world for inspiration.

It is no longer a choice for any country to lower their greenhouse-gas emissions or try to curb the destructive force humans have had on earth.

It is a well know fact that South Africa is among the worst 20 greenhouse-gas emitters globally and the highest in Africa. Today the country joins 140 other countries to sign a landmark agreement to limit climate change.

Many countries are leading by example and on this Earth Day, let’s celebrate these small steps that could have a greater impact on the environment.
