Medieval-themed festival in Bryanston
BRYANSTON - The German-speaking congregation is celebrating the founding of the Lutheran Church almost 500 years ago in Germany. The festivities will start from 11am and end at 7pm on 31 October.
“Our festival is not religious, it is more of a themed event,” explained Katrin Zürn-Steffens of Thomaskirche.
“We will also have the Fourways Society of Knights performing their sword fights on our court, and there will be a lot of good hearty German food and many themed games for the kids.”
