Rise and Shine returns to Sandton

SANDTON - The Rise and Shine Festival will return to Sandton Central Park on 22 August with great music, delicious food and the introduction of eco-partner Green Beings.

The festival will open at 8am, and festival-goers are invited to a light yoga session on the park’s lawn at 9am, before a full day of music, food, nature and friends. The event will host a plethora of high-end food and design stalls, with Johannesburg band Boo! and funk-rock legends, The New Academics and Bye Beneco providing the music.

Green Beings is a Fourways-based non-profit organisation aimed at educating children and teenagers at various schools using eco-friendly programmes, and will plant one tree for every 50 people who attend the event.
