Ferrari fans feast their eyes at Montecasino
MONTECASINO – Montecasino with its Venetian grace was the perfect setting to parade the pride of Italian cars, the Ferrari.
Enzo Ferrari, the father of Ferrari, would have been flattered to see a multitude of Ferrari fans salivating over a sea of his racy reds at Montecasino for the 8th Annual Southern Equatorial Ferrari Automobili Club (SEFAC) Show Day and Concours d’Elegance.
The stylish outdoor event boasted a sea of over 70 of the top South African-owned Ferraris, from the oldest models through to the top-of-the-range machines. These included the classic GTB 365 ‘Daytona’, a top dog of its time, and the Boxer as well as the fire-breathing F40 and furious 458 Italia.
Montecasino has made a name for itself over the years as the ideal venue for top name car show days that include BMW, AC Cobra, Porsche and Mercedes-Benz.
