Exciting exhibit to hit The Studio at the Square
SANDTON - The Studio Art Gallery will once again host an exhibition titled The Voice of the Nation which will see work by the likes of Lyndi Sales, Diane Victor, William Kentridge and Deborah Bell, among many others, on display.
The aim of the upcoming exhibition is to showcase the new kind of art-making which has evolved in South Africa; and one which embraces everyone irrespective of their race, religion, heritage or belief.
Jessica Deutsch, curator of the exhibition, described the artwork as something which “binds a nation together [as] any artists feel it is time in South Africa to acknowledge art as fundamental in making us think”.
This exhibition will run from 20 March until 3 May at The Studio Art Gallery, located in Mandela Square.
