Varsity College Sandton student wins ladies golf championship
SANDTON – Golf star Eleonora Galletti won the inaugural Royal Johannesburg and Kensington Ladies Championship.
A student from Varsity College Sandton won the inaugural Royal Johannesburg and Kensington 2019 Ladies Championship.
Eleonora Galletti, who is studying a Bachelor of Arts in Corporate Communications, has been playing golf since she was three years old. Galletti received a sports bursary from the college and plans to become a professional golfer once she graduates. “Although it is a tough sport that needs times and dedication, it is important for me to have fun. I live by the motto, ‘No one else is your competition but yourself’,” she said.
