WATCH: Runners take on the exciting new Spar Women’s Race route
EMMARENTIA – A TV and radio presenter, and an Olympian try out the new route for the Spar Women's Race Joburg.
The Spar Women’s Race Joburg will set off from Marks Park Sports Club for the first time this year, and TV and radio presenter, Elana Afrika-Bredenkamp, and race ambassador and Olympian, René Kalmer, have already tried the 10km route out.
The 10km route goes through the lovely suburbs of Greenside and Parkview, with wide, tree-lined avenues. The 5km route goes past the Johannesburg Botanical Gardens and Emmarentia Dam.
