Bryanston couple take second place in training canoe race
FOURWAYS - Bryanston residents Dylan Pons and Marcelle Huber participated in the two-day Liebensbergvlei River canoe training race on 5 and 6 September.
On the last day of the race, hosted by Dabulamanzi Canoe Club, the pair came in second in the mixed doubles, completing the course in a time of 02:40:00.
Paddlers used the race as a great opportunity to prepare for the upcoming Hansa Fish River Marathon which will be held in Cradock, Eastern Cape, in October.
