Highveld Lions head to India for T20

“We are ready and our boys are in good shape,” said Geoffrey Toyana, the head coach. Team captain Alviro Petersen said he thought the training went well and that the team was well prepared. “We’ve been here before so we have experience,” he added. “We just have to start well. We are aware of all the support from South Africa and that support is a big part of our success.”

Petersen said the team would do everything in their power to make South Africa proud again. Toyana said the team still gets a bit nervous even with all the success they have had in previous years. “We will play good cricket,” he added.
