SusperSport boys head for London

JOBURG - The relationship that SuperSport United have with English side Tottenham Hotspur Football Club is beginning to bear fruit.

Four of SuperSport United’s players will be heading to London for nine days of training with premiership outfit, Tottenham Hotspur.

Morne Nel (18), Denwin Farmer (16), Zama Rambuwane (18) and Kabelo Seriba (16) are part of the SuperSport Tottenham Hotspur Academy.

The boys will be accompanied by the academy’s technical manager, Godfrey Mosoetsa. The fruitful partnership between the London club and Matsatsantsa has seen former Bafana Bafana captain, Bongani Khumalo link with the English side.

The relationship between the two sides allows the White Hart Lane based side to get first option on any of the young boys from the united academy Tottenham Hotspur.

“The purpose of the trip is to assess the level of our youth players in relation to that of their counterparts. This has got nothing to do with trials, but it is about giving the youngsters the international exposure and experience that will be of utmost importance in their future football careers,” said Mosoetsa.
