Reader asks question

SANDTON – A Hurlingham Manor resident asked an important question with regards to water usage in her area.

A Hurlingham Manor resident, who wished to remain anonymous, writes:

We all know that water is our most needed commodity as no one can survive without it and we are a drought-stricken country, yet it does not seem to me that Joburgers are getting the message.

I live in Hurlingham Manor and driving through our suburb one will find gardeners using hosepipes and sprinklers on their sidewalks or even hosing down the driveways.

Do we still have water restrictions allowing us to water the gardens only from 6pm to 6am, or am I missing something?
