Thank you for making this world a better place

Sandown resident Sue Papworth writes:

On Tuesday morning, 7 July, while volunteering at the Hospice shop in Benmore, a gentleman came in and asked for me by name to tell me my friend had been involved in a car crash on 9th Street. He then told me he had taken her to the doctors’ surgery on the same street and offered to give me a lift there so I could go and be with her before she went off to hospital for x-rays.

I only know this man’s name was Richard. I want to thank him for taking the time to get involved in this stressful situation and for being a true Samaritan. People like you make this world a better place.
