Bring back pavement pride

In response to City Parks asks residents to cut grass, week ending 4 April.

In every country in the world people beautify their own pavements. Perhaps we should have pavement competitions as we did in the past.

If the ANC is serious about finding work for all the jobless, at least 1 000 could be employed just to beautify the streets, cut grass, weed, pick up litter and so on.

Three times a year is not enough to keep Joburg and Sandton and other areas looking neat and clean like in the Cape.
