CEO of Digitlab launches new book on how businesses can survive in this digital age
SANDOWN – Mike Saunders hopes his book opens doors internationally for his business and other businesses.

CEO of Digitlab, Mike Saunders hosted a book launch for his third book at WeWork in Sandown.
Humancetric is a book that helps businesses survive and progress in a digital age.
The book is for anyone who has or works on some sort of technology that is interfacing with their business. His emphasis is that the ‘Humancentric model’ can be applied to all spheres of businesses.
He always had ideas on how to help businesses but was struggling to communicate those ideas with other people.
“I wrote the book to take my thoughts, put them down on a piece of paper and organise them in such a way that people can use them to progress their businesses,” said Saunders.
He hopes the book gets as much local penetration as it can and to use that as a case study to take the book internationally. When he started this book he had a business vision and drive to start an international office for his company by the year 2025.

“This book is our mechanism to be able to start opening doors with the right kind of people across the globe.”
For him, book-writing is a personal journey of unpacking what he thinks should be done in order to get to a better space.
One of the things he focuses on in his book is analysing different kinds of businesses that had great products and how technology would accelerate these businesses.
The book was inspired by his desire to see businesses succeed in this digitally changing world. Having to adjust to this kind of change helps businesses be at the front line.
“The journey that we take as entrepreneurs is not the same and we all walk our own roads. Over time we learn the same kinds of lessons – look after your people, build a great culture, look after your bottom line and work as hard as you possibly can,” concluded Saunders.
