Head-on collision leaves seven people injured in Sandton

SANDTON – A spokesperson for Netcare 911, Shawn Herbst said reports from the scene indicate that two light delivery vehicles were involved in a head-on collision.


On 2 March, Netcare 911 paramedics responded to a collision on the corner of Witkoppen and Cedar roads in Witkoppen Ext 27, Sandton.

A spokesperson for Netcare 911, Shawn Herbst, said reports from the scene indicate that two light delivery vehicles were involved in a head-on collision.

“Medics found that seven people had sustained injuries ranging from minor to moderate.”

Herbst added that the patients were treated on the scene and once stabilised were transported by private ambulance to a nearby hospital for further treatment.
