Severe thunderstorms expected in Joburg
JOHANNESBURG – There is a 60 per cent chance of thundershowers from around 2pm till 9pm.

The South African Weather Service has issued a warning for the possibility of severe thunderstorms in the northern parts of Gauteng today (10 October).
The SA Weather Service also said that strong winds are possible in areas over the City of Johannesburg from the afternoon.
There is a 60 per cent chance of thundershowers from around 2pm till 9pm.
Seeing that the thunderstorm season is upon us, here is a reminder of the difference between normal and severe thunderstorms.
