Adult jogger left injured after car knocks him down

SANDTON – The patient was transported to a nearby hospital for further treatment.


In a released statement by Shawn Herbst from Netcare 911 it is said that at 6.04am Sunday morning (6 October), Netcare 911 responded to reports of a collision on Bowling Avenue in Gallo Manor, Sandton.

Herbst said that reports from the scene indicated that an adult jogger sustained moderate injuries when he was struck down by a light motor vehicle.

“The patient was treated on the scene and once stabilised was transported by ambulance to a hospital for further treatment.”

All necessary authorities were present at the scene.
