Five-month-old baby among those involved in a collision

BRYANSTON – One person was transported to a nearby hospital after sustaining minor injuries.


According to Shawn Herbst from Netcare 911’s communication office, Netcare 911 responded to reports of a collision on the N1 South Bound in Bryanston Sandton at 5.11pm Sunday evening (28 July).  

Herbst said in a released statement that reports from the scene indicate that two cars were involved in a collision.

He added that one person sustained minor injuries and was treated at the scene and transported by private ambulance to the hospital for further assessment.

“A five-month-old baby was also assessed and found to have not been injured,” said Herbst.
