WYNBERG – Police are monitoring the situation as the land grabbers refuse to leave the scene.

The South African Police Services (SAPS) have destroyed and burned the building materials of land grabbers in Wynberg today (27 June).
Dozens of land grabbers invaded an open space and erected illegal structures a stone throw’s distance from the Alexandra Magistrates’ Court.
The invaders, however, have vowed to continue building shacks on a piece of land believed to belong to the old Alexandra Police Station.
Police are monitoring the situation as the land grabbers refuse to leave the scene.
