Brescia House wins Catholic Schools Hockey League for third year in a row

BRYANSTON – The team won the league during a nail-biting final match.


Brescia House School won the Catholic Schools Hockey Trophy for the third year in a row.

The match, which was 20 minutes long, was a thrilling back-and-forth game between Brescia House School and Holy Rosary School for Girls. It ended in a draw leading to the nail-biting penalty shoot-out. After simple but impressive goals by Josephine Harvey and Georgia-Cate Colyn, Brescia House School was leading with two goals to one. There was one final save by the Brescia keeper, Heather Wimberley, to take the team to victory.
