Mashaba casts his vote at Sandton Fire Station: “We need to stop corruption”

SANDOWN – Mayor of Johannesburg will visit other IEC voting stations.

Johannesburg Mayor Herman Mashaba has arrived at the Sandton Fire Station to cast his vote in the 2019 South African elections.

On 8 May at around 10AM Mashaba arrived at the fire station before making courtesy stops at other IEC voting station across the City.

Sandton Chronicle journalist Laura Pisanello is there to capture the #IMadeMyMark moment.

Mashaba said, “I really urge the residents of Joburg but particularly all of South Africa [especially] Gauteng… We need to turn our City around.”

“We need to create jobs for our people, we need to create affordable accommodation, we need to stop corruption,” he added.
