Joburg Mayor Herman Mashaba joins JRA to repair potholes

WOODMEAD – Joburg Mayor Herman Mashaba joins JRA workers to repair potholes.

Johannesburg Mayor Herman Mashaba together with MMC for Transport Nonhlanhla Helen Makhuba  joined the Johannesburg Road Agency (JRA) workers to repair potholes in Woodmead on 28 February.

In a service delivery blitz, the mayor showed JRA workers how the jetpatcher machine works. Jetpatcher is the latest technology in the city that will help JRA to easily repair potholes.

The mayor said that the majority of the roads in the city needs resurfacing but the City does not have enough budget for that. Mashaba added that patching potholes is the only option at the moment.

MMC for Transport Nonhlanhla Helen Makhuba said the City wants to make all the roads safe for motorists.
