National Slipper Day makes children’s dreams a reality

JOBURG – Wimpy partners with Reach for a Dream Foundation to make children's dreams come true.

Wimpy has once again partnered with the Reach for a Dream Foundation for National Slipper Day. The annual campaign raises funds and awareness for children faced with life-threatening illnesses and helps them make their dreams a reality.

Julia Sotirianakos, Reach for a Dream CEO, said the foundation continues to bring hope, joy and healing to South African children and their families by offering children remarkable moments to regain their childhood from life-threatening illnesses.

South Africans are urged to make the dreams of children come true by purchasing a R10 wristband from any Pick n Pay or Wimpy store or Reach for a Dream branch. Wearing your wristband and slippers will also get you a free coffee from Wimpy on the 11th May.
