Marlboro Gardens community donates blankets less fortunate

Residents from the Marlboro Gardens community and surrounding areas recently donated blankets to residents of Stjwetla informal settlement.

Other organisations such as the Ithlokomeleng Hospice Centre in Alex, as well as the unemployed in the area, benefited from the annual Winter Blanket Drive.

Blankets were also donated to some of the elderly patients at Alexandra Health Clinic. Lee Ebrahim, a community member, together with members of the community, thanked all who contributed towards this wonderful gesture.
