It’s all about beauty at new medical centre in Sandton
GRAYSTON — Ubuntu Medical Centre's grand opening.
The Ubuntu Medical Centre hosted its grand opening on 11 March at the Grayston Shopping Centre in Sandton.
The lively evening was a mix of introductions, socialising and information regarding the correct products one must use for better skin. The medical centre is the first of many centres that will be opening within the next two years and includes a dynamic group of doctors.

Doctor Yahir Edinburg specialises in medical aesthetics and is the owner of the centre. He had been planning his Ubuntu centres for quite some time and when Grayston became available, he jumped at the opportunity to open a centre there.
Doctor Judey Pretorius is the skin expert and previously specialised in wound care and scar removal. She has a PhD in biochemistry and is the owner and founder of Biomedical Emporium. Pretorius gave a talk on proper skin care rituals and how imperative it is to look after the skin you are in.

Doctor Rita Bhikha comes from a gynaecological background and will be hosting wellness days for women to educate them on the necessities of doing all-female check-ups regularly. This will be geared around ‘free information for all’ and the main aim will be to generate more awareness surrounding female-related illnesses and disorders.
Edinburg has very strong ties with the community and offers free treatment for his charity of choice, Impilo Orphanage. Caregivers simply book an appointment at his practice at Nedbank head office in Sandton and he sees them free of charge.
He said, “Ubuntu means the essential human virtues of compassion and humanity, something we really strive for here. We are so much more than just an aesthetics clinic, we are a family and want to work with the community and make people feel at home.”
