Hyde Park High’s the best

Hyde Park High School was recently voted as the best government high school in Gauteng at the Best of Joburg gala event on 19 October.

Headmaster of the school, Manolis Vogiatzis, was proud of the award. He said, “Hyde Park High School is the only government school that offers an IEB [Independent Examination Board] matric, high standards of education and highly qualified and experienced teachers.

“The school’s quality education matches that of many of the private schools and the pupils’ academic preparation is reflected in the great success of past pupils at tertiary level.”
