
IEC CEO, Mosotho Moepya expressed satisfaction at how the election day went, based on reports he reveived from voting stations.
Moepya said despite what he described a minor glitches, the commission managed to deliver on its mandate.
Moepya said everything went smoothly at voting stations and confirmed that counting of votes will begin as soon as stations close this evening.
He made it clear that results of each ward will be made public as soon as counting is concluded.
