Roads close due to evacuation drill

Sandton Central posted on their Facebook page, stating that the Nedbank Phase 2 evacuation started shortly after 10am on 21 June.

JMPD have closed the following roads:

– Maude Street (between Rivonia Road & Gwen Lane)
– One lane on Rivonia Road between Maude Street and Fredman Drive
– Both directions of Fredman Drive between Rivonia Road and Gwen Lane
– Gwen Lane between Fredman Drive and Maude Street

The roads should be closed for about 30 minutes, however, motorists are urged to use alternative routes.
