The wife of City of Joburg’s Mayor Parks Tau was reportedly robbed in a parking lot in Sandton on the night of 4 April.
According to EWN, Philisiwe Twala-Tau was alone when she was approached by robbers in a parking lot in the Sandton area.
She reportedly escaped unharmed but the robbers made off with some of her personal belongings.
The mayor’s spokesperson, Phindile Chauke told EWN that Twala-Tau was unharmed during the incident but is still traumatised.
Police are reportedly investigating.
