A walk to raise awareness of epilepsy
JOBURG - Residents are invited to participate in the Purple Day Walk and help raise awareness of epilepsy on 12 March.
The walk is organised by Deutsche Internationale Schule pupil Maximillian van Heerden and Purple Day ambassador Linda Diaz.
The event will involve a 2.5km walk from Sandton Library to Rivonia Road with full support from Metro police and marshals who will watch over the proceedings. The assembly point will be at the library at 11am, with the walk starting at 11.30am and finishing at Shell garage on Rivonia Road.
