It’s market day at Field and Study Park
PARKMORE – The Field and Study Park in Parkmore will host its first Field and Study Market for this year on 20 February.

Community members of Parkmore and surrounding areas are invited to attend this lifestyle market which will offer food stalls, crafts and entertainment from 9am to 2pm.
Handri Coolen, of the Field and Study Market, said the event will be held under the trees on the corner of 14th Street and Louise Avenue in Parkmore.
“We want to get the community aware of the market and for people to come and enjoy the park,” Coolen added.
“Come and enjoy the relaxed atmosphere under the trees while listing to live music, enjoying a coffee or something to eat from the various food stalls.”
Attendees will have the opportunity to stroll through the craft stalls to find unique and locally-made products. There will also be entertainment for youngsters, including a large jungle gym, toys, a free nature scavenger hunt and lots of open space to run around in.
Looking ahead, the markets will be held every third Saturday of the month.
There will be free entry, parking for attendees and security provided by security guards.
