MARIZEL MEINTJES: All my hopes for South Africa for this year would be to have a better education system so that we ensure every child is at school and receives the best education.

MIRRIAM MTONGA: I work as a domestic worker, I hope people will treat domestic workers fairly and make sure we get a better salary.

JANE SIBANDA: A better political environment for South Africa will benefit all of us and better housing for people who live in shacks.

GEORGE BANDA: I hope this year that South Africa will have more jobs for people who are unemployed and suffering. The rand also fell dramatically and hopefully it will strengthen again.
