15 injured in major taxi crash on N1
BUCCLEUCH - 15 people were injured in a serious taxi crash on the N1 highway just before 6pm on 11 February.
According to Emer-G-Med , the taxi had allegedly been speeding when the driver lost control of his vehicle and it rolled across the highway.
Three people sustained serious injuries and required advanced life support while the remaining passengers sustained minor to moderate injuries.
Injured patients were treated on scene before being transported to nearby hospitals for further medical care.
The cause of the accident is under investigation.
