
This according to Warrant Officer Moses Maphakela, spokesperson for Sandton police, who said the suspect was arrested on the spot and charged with fraud.
“The ID had his photo but the details, when checked on the system, did not correspond,” he alleged.
The suspect was detained at the Sandton Police Station and is expected to appear in court soon.
