13 people injured after a car and taxi collided

Netcare 911 paramedics attended the scene and said seven of the patients had sustained critical injuries.

ENCA is further reporting that the Jaws-of-Life had to be used to free six of the taxi’s passengers from the vehicle and the injured patients were transported to local medical facilities. Police were reportedly on the scene to investigate the cause of the accident.
