Adorable pets in need of a loving home

SANDTON – The Sandton SPCA is looking for loving homes for some of their pets this week.

The organisation encourages community members to adopt a pet but advises that all potential adoptions will be subjected to a home inspection by the organisation.

Members wishing to adopt a pet will be required to pay for de-worming, sterilisation and vaccination of the pet, all of which are compulsory. The SPCA is looking for homes for the following pets:

  •  George, a male crossbreed, aged two, who was found unwanted and is described as having lots of character
  •  Zane, a male cross Chow who is two years old, is also up for adoption. Zane was found as stray and is described as being very friendly
  •  Zoombie also needs a loving home to take him this week. Zoombie is a male cross Jack Russell pup of three months old who was unwanted by his previous owners
  •  Another pet up for adoption this week is Luna, a female crossbreed of 10 months old who was found as a stray and has a lovely temperament
  •  Last, but not least, the SPCA is looking for homes for two cats this week, Pop Star and Cat Cat. Pop Star is a three-year-old female cross Siamese who was unwanted while Cat Cat is a male white/black/Tabby who is 18 months old. Both were unwanted by their previous owners and are described as loving and affectionate pets.
