Sandton SPCA visits Torah Academy Nursery School

JOBURG - The Sandton SPCA recently paid a visit to Torah Academy Nursery School to teach the children about kindness to animals.

Angie Jennett, of the Sandton SPCA, taught three- and four-year-olds from the school the importance of being kind to their pets and other four-legged animals.

The little ones were fascinated by a guinea pig which Jennett brought to the school to illustrate the needs of animals and how to treat them gently.

The SPCA, among other animal protection organisations, invites people to visit its facilities, stating, “Working hand-in-paw with our animal behaviorists, they assess the temperament of each animal to see what kind of owner will suit them best,” said Jennett.
