Multiple injuries in Sandton taxi accident
SANDTON - Several people were injured in a taxi accident at the corner of Old Pretoria Main and Kelvin Roads on the morning of 9 October.
According to ER24, paramedics arrived on scene to find the taxi in the slow lane of the road.
The entire front section of the taxi had been ripped open in the collision.
Paramedics found that several patients had sustained injuries but fortunately there were no fatalities on scene.
Patients were treated on scene before being transported to nearby hospitals for further medical treatment.
The cause of the collision is not yet known but local authorities were on scene to conduct investigations.
