
This according to Warrant Officer Moses Maphakela, spokesperson for Sandton police, who said three of the four men are known to the 30-year-old victim.
Maphakela explained that the man was walking on Woodmead Drive when he was approached by four men in two different cars. “One car was a white VW Golf and the other was a white Chevrolet bakkie,” said Maphakela.

“The suspects started kicking and punching him and the victim managed to run to the nearest garage.”
Maphakela said the suspects took R12 000 worth of items from him. “Some of the things the suspects stole include a 13kg gas bottle, drill bits, sockets, a UV light and money.”
No arrests have been made and the police are still investigating.
