Now in its second year, the tournament welcomed six more sides including two girls’ teams and a high school section of the tournament. Gauteng Girls won the junior section of the tournament.
Darren Bergman, deputy shadow minister of Sports and Recreation said, “Transformation is the biggest buzzword in this time and it begins at school level. A tournament like this is great as it showcases talent.”
Kieran Rogers, director of cricket at Crawford College Lonehill, congratulated all participating teams.
