Beauty blog raises more than 70k for charity
RIVONIA – The Look Good, Feel Better programme was the proud recipient of a whopping donation of more than R76 000 from the South Africa Beauty Blog Awards' team.

The generous donation came after the successful hosting of the recent inaugural blog awards, aimed at celebrating the best bloggers in the country, which took place in Rivonia.
The awards were hosted in partnership with tanning solutions company, TanOrganic South Africa.
Greg Gunner, executive director of TanOrganic South Africa, spoke about the event and said his company was excited to have been involved in bringing the inaugural awards to life.
“The event was a great success and we feel delighted to have… made a positive difference in the lives of those diagnosed with cancer, a cause close to our hearts,” he said.
“Presenting the cheque to the Look Good, Feel Better programme was a great moment as it represented the hard work and dedication that went into these awards and made it all worthwhile.”
Gunner also spoke briefly on the work done by the programme, which focused on helping men and women who have cancer to manage their appearances during their treatment. The programme is a way for the cosmetics industry to assist cancer patients in a practical and positive way.
He concluded by expressing the hope that the awards would continue to grow in the coming years and that the relationship with the programme would continue.
The awards were started as a way to help recognise the blogging industry and to encourage its growth within the country.
