Marlboro community invited to a fun day
MARLBORO – A family fun day will be held on 12 September at Marlboro Gardens Secondary School.
The teachers of the school have been working hard to put together a fun-filled event for all to enjoy.
The event promises to be a day filled with various activities for the whole family. There will be a parachute rocket, waterslide, a twin tunnel castle, Playstation games, a talent show and many other activities.
Cake donations are welcome for a cake sale, where baking enthusiasts can show off their baking skills and stand a chance to win prizes.
Food will also be sold at various food stalls. Toys, games and balloons as well as stationery and many more items will be on sale.
All the proceeds from the fun day will be for the benefit of the school.
Hafeeza Mayet of the school said the school needed assistance with the donation of any unwanted gift sets, novelty items, gift bags and any other well-intended gifts.
“This will be used as prizes for the various activities,” explained Mayet.
