Spring tea fundraiser for The Village Safe Haven
BUCCLEUCH – The Village Safe Haven in Buccleuch is hosting a spring tea fundraiser on 12 September, and community members are invited to host tables of 10 people as part of the fundraising project.

The haven is a cluster foster care facility in Buccleuch for orphaned, vulnerable and abused children who are looked after by Mike and Susan Harris. Part of the funds raised will be put toward a holiday for the children of the home in October.
The event will kick off at 10.30am at The Village Safe Haven and will be an outdoor tea affair, with guest speakers and entertainment for all to enjoy. Although the home will supply chairs, 10-seater round tables, tablecloths and hot water, participants are encouraged to bring umbrellas and gazebos.
Participants who book tables are encouraged to decorate their table, with prizes given away for the best-themed table.
Interested parties who are unable to attend the event are encouraged to donate funds or sponsor prizes.
