Wear your slippers to work or school on 7 August

JOBURG - The Reach For A Dream Foundation urges all South Africans to exchange their work shoes or school shoes for their favourite pair of slippers on 7 August in support of Slipper Day.

The non-governmental organisation supports children suffering from life-threatening illnesses and aims to make the dreams of these children a reality.

To support the initiative, simply purchase a Slipper Day sticker for R10 at any Wimpy outlet. Then, on 7 August, visit a Wimpy outlet wearing your slippers and Slipper Day sticker, and you’ll get a free cup of coffee and a

Wimpy coffee mug as a thank you for supporting the initiative.

“Slipper Day is a fun way for people to contribute a small amount of money and make a huge difference in a child’s life,” said marketing and communications manager for the foundation, Bronwyn Feldwick.
