Man arrested in Sandown for trespassing

SANDOWN – The Sandton police recently nabbed a man for trespassing in a building in Sandown.

The incident occurred when, according to Sandton police Warrant Officer Moses Maphakela, a complainant received information about someone entering the building.

“The complainant alleged that the trespasser once had access to the building but was no longer allowed on the premises,” Maphakela said.

He added that the police arrived on the scene and arrested the suspect. The man was charged with trespassing and has made his first court appearance.
