Henson takes bronze
ROSEBANK – Rosebank resident and pupil at St David's Marist Inanda, Simon Henson, participated in the Gauteng Canoe Union school league races held on the Vaal River near Vanderbijlpark and finished third in the U12 race, earning himself a bronze medal.
Throughout the canoeing season, canoeists accumulate points so that consistency and regular participation can be rewarded. St David’s Marist Inanda school recognises canoeing as a school sport and holds their training sessions at Emmarentia Dam.
